Important Notice: The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an official national examination conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, and IIT Roorkee) on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB) - GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India.
GATE Civil Tracker is an independent educational tool developed by Soumyajit Biswas for student preparation and self-management. It is not affiliated with, associated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with the official GATE committee, IITs, IISc, or any government body.
The subject breakdowns, sub-topic lists, and historical tracker weightages provided in this tool are curated to assist Civil Engineering aspirants with structured study planning.
While we strive to keep syllabus details and previous year question structures aligned with recent GATE CE trends, aspirants must always consult the official GATE information brochure issued by the conducting IIT/IISc for final authoritative syllabus updates, eligibility criteria, and examination formats.
All preparation data (checked syllabus topics, PYQs, mock test logs, notes, achievements) is saved strictly in your client-side browser storage (localStorage).
Because we do not store your data on remote servers, clearing your browser cache, using private/incognito mode, or resetting your device will erase your local records. We strongly advise users to regularly use the Export function on the top header to save their study progress to a local .json file.
The application software, user interface design, visual theme, gamification engine, and custom badge assets are the intellectual property of Soumyajit Biswas. You may use this tracker for personal, non-commercial educational study. Reproduction or commercial resale without explicit permission is strictly prohibited.
